Each run has its own regional breakfast!

Starting 2018, Wake up and run breakfasts in Romandie are elaborated with regional products, sourced from regional craftsmen and producers. They are carefully selected in collaboration with the members of the association Pays Romand-Pays Gourmand.

Breakfasts will slightly differ from one run to another. Participants will have the opportunity to taste various regional bakery specialties. For example, runners will have “pain de seigle” in Sierre while they will eat the traditional “cuchaule au safran” in Fribourg.

On top of that, jam, cheese or chocolate will be offered to participants (varies on each run).  In the French-speaking part, a different yoghurt provided by a regional dairy producer will also be served on each stop of the Wake up and run tour.

A fruit grown in regional orchards will complete the picture. Finally, runners’ thirst will be quenched by delicious apple juices, also squeezed in the area. Tea and coffee will also be offered.
